Trump Grill Haiku & Violations Report

Donald Trump, descendant of Drumpfs, has claimed many times that he “hires the best people.” He even promised in 2016 that we’d become sick of the best people. And it turns out, maybe his standards for “the best people” could literally make you ill. With a simple search of New York Restaurant Inspection Reports, the Department of Fukiu found records of disturbing violations committed by workers at Trump Cafe and Grill. 

Excerpts from recent records in the inspection database:

• Evidence of mice or live mice present in facility's food and/or non-food areas.
• Live roaches present in facility's food and/or non-food areas.  
• Facility not vermin proof. Harborage or conditions conducive to attracting vermin to the premises and/or allowing vermin…
• Raw, cooked or prepared food is adulterated, contaminated, cross-contaminated, or not discarded in accordance with HACCP…
• Food contact surface not properly washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use and following any activity when contamination…
• Personal cleanliness inadequate. Outer garment soiled with possible contaminant. Effective hair restraint not worn…
• Filth flies or food/refuse/sewage-associated (FRSA) flies present in facilitys [sic] food and/or non-food areas.

Repeats are a feature in Trump Grill inspection reports; some of the above violations were reported in 2018 and previously.
